Campaign News

We’re absolutely delighted to have MagPi Issue 122 cover our campaign, and we never expected such an amazing response to support us with our project!

We spent a long time preparing for our launch, and whilst the delay to our original launch date due to Covid was a big disappointment, it did give us time to create a number of additional applications and examples, and we were fortunate to gain not only the backing of PCBWAY’s Crowdfunding sponsorship program, but also establish great relationships with a number of 18650 battery supply companies across North America, Europe and the UK.

Despite having done a lot of preparation ahead of our launch, not just to present our project goals, but also to think ahead in terms of testing and the logistics of production and shipping, we were new to Kickstarter and it was with some nervousness that we sat down to hit the launch button, hoping we would not get stuck on some last minute IT issue!

It was therefore very exciting to see a number of news sites cover our Kickstarter campaign, finding people from all over the world who are keen to help us reach our goals. We’ve pulled the key articles together in our press page, and we’ll keep updating it, so check it out!

We certainly didn’t anticipate such a quick response to reach our minimum volume target in the first week, and to see so many more continue to join to help us make this project a success!

We’ve already had some great feedback from you, and it is a real pleasure to hear about your project requirements and discuss how you would like to integrate the Red Reactor.

The MagPi magazine is a great source of information for a huge range of projects and gadgets to build with your Raspberry Pi, and we are honoured to have our Red Reactor covered on page 91 of issue 122.

All your pledges will help us fund our next areas of research as we look to expand further into products that will help you quickly build, and test, the gadgets of the future underpinned by those amazing Raspberry Pi’s, Arduino’s, ESP32’s and many more!
